Value Proposition
Our focus is to provide a comprehensive, market-leading investigative approach to any intervention that is undertaken by our office. Our current resolution rate as tracked since 2009, stands at an average of 85%.
Our senior personnel are certified detectives with extensive specialized backgrounds, each having in excess of over 25 years, first-hand investigative experience. The scope of our investigations range from petty theft to those involving the commission of both serious and violent crime. As such, we also have a good understanding of current legal processes, Criminal Law and the Law of Criminal Procedure and Evidence.
We do not supply a standard service and our expertise and approach is of such a high standard, that we find it to be non-reflective of many in our industry. Polygraph testing, where utilised, is conducted to meet international standards, as well as the prescribed professional code of conduct and is always focused on post-test resolution of the incident under investigation.
Contrary to popular belief, evidence obtained during such procedures can be admitted as evidence in various legal processes, the CCMA, police investigations and criminal courts – see the website and related links for case law. Detailed audio/visual records of all investigative interviews undertaken are retained by this office and can be presented as evidence by the relevant Investigator, in any subsequent disciplinary, investigative and/or judicial process, should the contents of such interventions be disputed.
Our primary focus is thus always to put the client in a position to take action, based on any polygraph finding. A mere pass or fail is therefore not our principal aim, as such results only constitute a portion of the investigative process and are not always sufficient when further criminal and/or disciplinary action is being considered.
Post-test questioning is an inherent part of any polygraph exam and qualifies the finding. Without resolution of a failed test, the application of this process is limited. This exploratory procedure is thus highly recommended, based on our first-hand experience and the successes achieved to date, when following this crucial course of action.

Should any examinee be unwilling to submit him/herself to such a process, alternative methods of risk assessment can be followed, using conventional interviewing techniques, as well as various forms of criminal screening. This allows for the process of risk assessment to be continued without negative precedents being set or unnecessary and pointless cancellation costs being incurred.
