National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI)

The National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI) is aimed at saving lives at sea and operates from over 30 bases around the coast of South Africa. The heartbeat of the organisation is its 1000+ skillful, experienced and unpaid volunteers, who are on standby throughout the year, day and night. The NSRI relies solely on donations and sponsorships to cover the costs involved in operations and training. With one of our members being an active volunteer since 2009, this is a cause that lies close to our heart. As such, True Lies supports the organisation in a variety of ways and urges everyone out there to do the same. Please visit their website at www.nsri.org.za to find out how you can contribute to the organisation that might someday save your life, or the life of a loved one.

All donations are station specific, in this case Melkbosstrand, the base responsible for the coast between Milnerton and Bokpunt, near Ganzekraal.
